TERA, the leading company in electric mobility from Alicante, crosses frontiers

  • TERA participates in the FIGIEFA Conference 2024 in Brussels, Europe’s institutional center.
  •  The Generalitat Valenciana supports TERA as a strategic project for the territory due to its innovative proposal and positioning as a company with a driving capacity for the electric mobility sector.

TERA sets no limits on its path to providing innovative and sustainable solutions for e-mobility. In line with its commitment to lead the global energy transition, TERA landed in Brussels to participate in the prestigious FIGIEFA Conference 2024, organized by the European aftermarket and distribution employers’ association, a key event for the automotive sector where the current challenges and opportunities for the industry were addressed, in areas such as digitalization and technological innovation. It is worth highlighting the relevance of this meeting, which has been attended by top-level companies such as LKQ, Alliance Automotive and Groupauto International.

TERA’s presence at this international forum reinforces its role as a driving force in the field of sustainable mobility, highlighting its capacity for innovation and strategic approach. From Alicante, the company has managed to position itself as a benchmark in the development of activities that contribute significantly to the circular economy, with the institutional support of the Generalitat Valenciana, which already officially recognised TERA as a strategic project for the territory in 2023, this being the only project already in operation, supported by the public body dedicated to the second-life recycling of electric vehicle batteries, to the recovery of critical materials and to the development of advanced energy storage systems from refurbished components.

TERA operates under the umbrella of PCEX GROUP, considered one of the leading business groups in the automotive sector, focused on the marketing of spare parts and covering all types of vehicles. Throughout its history, the company has established and maintains official contracts with giants of the automotive industry such as Renault and Stellantis Group, achieving an annual turnover of more than 42 million euros and placing the province of Alicante as one of the epicentres of the sector. As a result of this organisational drive, TERA has managed, in a short time, to consolidate its activity, focused on four strategic lines:

  • Global supply of spare parts for electric vehicles (EVs): the group of companies provides spare parts for more than 40 countries on five continents, ensuring availability and sustainability in electric vehicle maintenance and repair worldwide.
  • Second-life battery recycling: management of the only plant currently in operation, dedicated to the recovery of critical materials extracted from electric vehicle batteries, essential to guarantee a sustainable supply and reduce dependence on natural resources, as well as the reuse of components, allowing their useful life to be extended.
  • Manufacture of energy accumulators: development and production of energy accumulators for various sectors, including automotive, marine and industrial, driving technological innovation in energy storage.
  • Expansion of the network of repair centres affiliated to TERA: with a special focus on training, to accompany and support the sector in a strategic aspect for the future such as the transition to electromobility.

The automotive aftermarket is going through a moment of profound transformation, as has been seen during the FIGIEFA Conference 2024 event, where innovation, sustainability and the implementation of technological processes are crucial aspects; and it is precisely there, where the business group, through TERA, makes its greatest contribution to leading the after-sales of electric vehicles.
