Electric vehicle batteries
Electric vehicle batteries
Every battery we recover represents an opportunity to reduce environmental impact and make the most of existing resources.
Using our proprietary technology, we assess the State of Health (SOH) of each battery to determine the most suitable solution based on its condition. Our priority is always to maximise reuse before recycling, keeping components in service for as long as possible.
This circular economy model helps reduce the CO₂ emissions associated with manufacturing new batteries, minimises the need for raw material extraction and supports the transition towards more sustainable electric mobility.
Give electric vehicle batteries
a second life

1. Battery collection
We recover end-of-life batteries and reintegrate them into the value chain, preventing valuable resources from becoming waste prematurely.

2. Diagnosis and characterisation
Using our proprietary technology, we rapidly and accurately determine the battery's State of Health (SOH), reducing analysis times and improving the quality of the data obtained.

3. Second life
Modules and components that remain in optimal condition are refurbished for use in new energy storage systems or other applications where they can continue to deliver value.

4. Recycle
When a battery or any of its components can no longer be reused, we identify the recoverable materials and send them to authorised recycling specialists for processing in accordance with current regulations.
How much value does your battery still have?
Not every end-of-life battery has reached the end of its service life. Many can still be repaired, refurbished or repurposed for new energy storage applications.
At TERA, we analyse the State of Health (SOH) of each battery to determine the best technical, economic and environmental solution.
Use our calculator to discover the value your battery could still have.

TERA NOMAD: Sustainability at its purest
TERA NOMAD: Sustainability at its purest
TERA NOMAD is the best example of our circular economy philosophy.
This portable power station is built using components recovered from electric vehicle batteries that still retain usable capacity. Through this process, we give high-value materials a second life, reduce the demand for new raw materials and lower the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing energy storage systems.
Every TERA NOMAD proves that a battery can continue to deliver energy long after its first life in an electric vehicle has come to an end.
Energy storage for a sustainable transition
Renewable energy is the present and the future of the energy system. However, to unlock its full potential, it is essential to store surplus energy when it is generated and use it when it is needed most.
At TERA, we develop energy storage systems designed to integrate with photovoltaic installations and other renewable energy sources, optimising self-consumption, improving energy efficiency and reducing reliance on the electricity grid.
These solutions enable businesses and industries to make the most of every kWh generated, reduce their CO₂ emissions and move towards a more efficient, resilient and decarbonised energy model.
