Industrial plant

We transform used lithium batteries into sustainable opportunities.

We diagnose, characterize, and valorize key components to reuse them in the manufacturing of new energy storage systems, as well as for the mobility sector. This reduces resource extraction, promotes the circular economy, and accelerates decarbonization.

TERA positions itself as one of the leading companies pursuing strategic objectives such as fostering industrial decarbonization and driving forward an emerging sector.

Circular economy for decarbonization

1.

Collection and Recovery of Batteries

We promote the circular economy by collecting lithium batteries that are no longer in circulation.

2.

Diagnosis

Characterization of components by applying our own technological development to obtain the SOH (State of Health), drastically reducing extraction times and improving the quality of the data obtained.

3.

Storage

TERA manufactures its own storage systems, both first and second life, using reconditioned lithium batteries.

4.

Mobility

We manufacture mobility batteries and recover components for the reconditioning of EV batteries.

5.

After-sales service

TERA maintains direct contact with manufacturers and distributors, ensuring that the results of its research become practical tools to maximize battery performance. This includes identifying common errors in battery usage, as well as proposing improvements in their manufacturing.

6.

Waste recycling

After reusing the components that meet the requirements for their application in second-life recycling processes, the remaining components are identified for recycling through shredding. This process is managed to direct the activity to specialized companies in accordance with the protocols established by regulations.
